This is for one of my old golfing buddies who happens to love pink.  The golfer girl stamp is from Stampin' Bella called "Teeoffabella"  Very easy to color with Copics since the image is so small.  Not much room for blending!  I made the argyle background on the front and the strip inside using the "Argyle Backdrops" stamp set from Lawn Fawn.  Ribbon is from May Arts and the sequins from Doodlebug.

Another Roberto's Rascals stamps, this one called "Good Morning Sue".  I made this for my friend, Sue who is having a birthday. :0)  The hair was a challenge to color what with all those curlers in there!  So I just made it look like she has a chunky hair color job!  At least that's what I was going for!  Designer paper is by My Mind's Eye.  I thought it looked a bit like her PJs.

Love these stamps from C. C. Design, Roberto's Rascals line.  This one is called "Coffee Sue".  The sentiment inside is from Amy R.'s "Rumor Has It…" stamp set.  Colored "Sue" with Copics and used one of My Minds Eye designer paper packs.  Doodlebug sequins.

Copic Class - Day 7

Today's class involved using difficult colors: red, black and white.  Sandy showed us how to create folds in fabric (see the cute robot's cape) which I also applied to the little bat robot's wings.

Copic Class - Day 6

Day 6 covered coloring critters and fur.  So much fun!  I can see referring back to this class video frequently.

Copic Class - Day 5

I'm late posting these but Day 5 of the online Copic class covered coloring skin and hair.  I have a lot of stamps of people images so this is going to come in quite handy!  Now it's one thing to copy the teacher when coloring the image - the big challenge will come when I'm on my own!

Online Copic Class - Day 4

Today we learned about light source and shading.  Boy do I need a lot of practice at this!

Online Copic Class - Day 3

Day 3 covered using shades of gray to add shading, rather than a darker color in the same color family.  I had a real problem with colors bleeding and I'm pretty sure it's my paper.  I've ordered some Neenah Solar White but in the meantime, I've been using G-P 110 lb. and it just doesn't work well with Copics.  I normally use CC Designs Copic Quality card stock to color my stamped images but that paper wouldn't feed through my printer.  Sure hope it's the paper's fault and not the rookie colorer!! :0)

Online Copic Class - Day 2

Day 2 of class covered different techniques of blending:  Tip to tip, off acetate or acrylic block and feathering.  I didn't have a lot of time to practice but I know I'll be using these techniques a lot in the future.
